For many years now people have been able to show off their accomplishments in distributing their balances through the max cape, however those who decide to forgo combat in OSRS Gold happen to be lacking on front. Its no small achievement to attain 99 in most abilities lacked battle as some skills are linked to related stated combat abilities. I believe its which skiller pure balances receive a cape to show this off.
Send which sport variant keep tabs on both and you're trying to log onto and that is it? I have build these types of items in the past (again, safety was not my attention ) so unless there are some significant security vulnerabilities it shouldn't be categorized as a"technical limitation" and much more as it going against prefered game layout / ideology. This would require to log everyone out once (only think of a system update) on both the osrs and rs3, but other which happens with every system upgrade. Would there be issues with this strategy? It could be that Jagex is overly busy and this won't be their priority. I get that that's a thing this is for debate.
First off, I don't know a lot about host / system security. I've build created API's for them in the past and deployed databases and designed, but safety was not my attention. This is not to bash or to whine, but to outside my frustrations to hopefully get a discussion going, or clear up my thoughts. So the reason is because of technological constraints, which seems lazy honestly if there are no security problems that are giant.
RS 2007 Gold game monitors if you are logged in already or not. If you're logged in (on version), you can't login, which makes sense. Why not keep track of both OSRS and RS3 logins seperately? It's one field for each RuneScape player and a client side and API change.
